PARKS AND RECREATION

Featuring: The Parks and Recreation Department's Home Based Programming page includes activities for all ages!  

Enjoy adult fitness programs including Ultimate Fitness with Lana and Mat Pilates with Gretchen.

Teens and adults of all ages can educate themselves on how to build resilience within themselves and others during these challenging times through a FREE American Red Cross Mental Health First Aid Online Course

School Age programs are offered through Empow Studios, Callahan's Karate, Mad Science and Wicked Cool for Kids, and our Summer Camp Directors have made some camp cheer videos to get your fired up for camp!

COUNCIL ON AGING

Featuring:  Council on Aging's Active Aging, Stretch and Flex and Line Dancing classes are online! 

You do not need to have taken the classes to view the videos. We hope you will like them so much you'll come to our live classes!

Featuring: The Children's Department has many important and fun resources to families including information about the department's response to the situation, links to various social media activities and outreach, online materials and instructions on how to access them, and librarian curated websites that promote literacy and provide ideas for at home activities. Contact with the town's librarians if you need help finding books, gathering resources, or accessing support.

Stephen Collins as Walt Whitman!

Featuring: The Council on Aging and the Lincoln Public Library had hoped to present a six-week series on Walt Whitman by Stephen Collins. 

Since we will need to postpone that, we are hoping to whet your appetite for the class by offering this hour-long performance about Walt Whitman by Stephen on video!

LINCOLN FAMILY ASSOCIATION

Featuring: The Lincoln Family Association has compiled a wide variety of resource to help families through these challenging times.

These include emotional support resources, activities, and local business options. Included you’ll find ideas for babies and preschoolers, shared by a few of LFA's 2020 partners: Magic Garden and Teddy Bear Club. Again, if there is any way we may be of help at this stressful time, please let us know.

Featuring: Visit this site to view a virtual tour created last year for the Bauhaus Centennial Celebration.  This is the home of Walter Gropius, founder of the German design school known as the Bauhaus, and one of the most influential architects of the twentieth century. Modest in scale, the house was revolutionary in impact. Gropius House is a National Historic Landmark.
